Several people have asked me for copies of the drug dosages card that I used for my peds rotation. I am happy to share it with you, but of course it goes without saying that you are responsible for relying on it in the clinical setting. When converting doses to volumes, be sure that the supplied concentration you are using is the same as what is on the card, & as always, please check the accuracy of the information before using it. Note this site's disclaimer.

Another little tidbit I thought I would pass on: Check out the offerings from ebay seller jeffandtraciheese by logging on to ebay & searching for his auctions. He has several nifty anesthesia offerings that are great for students.

I'm racing to catch up on a few things before the fireworks start later this evening, & I wanted to make sure to get this contribution from Karen uploaded. These are some pediatric cheat sheets with dosing, vital signs, & other anesthesia information in nice tables. Thanks Karen! I also have a table I made of the nondepolarizing paralytics. As always, please verify the information contained on these sheets before relying on them to make judgements in the patient care setting.

A comment about my clinical site:
I have been doing clinical rotations at St. Elizabeth's in Belleville, & just wanted to share how my experience there has been so far. I have to say that I couldn't have asked for a better site for my first clinical rotations. The CRNAs & MDAs at St. E's have been wonderful. Patient, very hospitable, & wonderful teachers.

Nancy, one of the very great CRNAs at St. E's, gave me a couple of helpful "cheat sheets" so to speak for volatile agents, induction drugs, & local/regional anesthetics. I'm in the process of copying these now, & anyone else who would like them can download them from this site. I don't know about you, but anything I can stick on my clipboard & have immediately at hand is cool to me, but then again, I am a huge nerd. Here's what I've got so far (you'll need Adobe Reader to open these):

      Inhalation Agents
     Induction Drugs
